Summers arriving and so it’s called a family time. Some time to get indulge in your style with your family and what could be better than your own store for shopping within your pocket

As FBB says “making India beautiful” but this post will show you how I made my family beautiful with amazing kinds of stuff under 1000/- Rs each for all my family members. After all, Summers are for FAMILY.

This orange kurti just stole my heart and the material of palazzo was so comfortable and full look give classy look for any get together this summer.

After some super styling myself, I rushed towards kids section and found the amazing collection for both boys and girls and grabbed few for this summer vacation.

For boys starting range for some cool shirts are 599/- rs even boys polo tees 1 for Rs.299/- and 2 @ rs 499/-.

In girls section amazing jumpsuits, frocks, palazzos, graphic tees all that your princess would love. Girls graphic tees 1 @ Rs 199/- and 2 @ Rs 349/-. I just grabbed one tee and one palazzo for my princess.

many varieties starting from Rs 600/- denim jeans to whatever range you looking for.

This valentine day I want to tell my readers why I think my blog earned my unconditional Love ❤

7 reasons why I love my blog and will keep loving for next 7 lives!!

1. This blog came to an existence when life was giving me only gossip session in life, cripping on small things and I was turning into a typical saans bahu Indian serial type lady. Life was eating up my creativity and then my blog forfoodiefamily was born.
2. I started as cooking is one of my hobbies and I wanted to share my recipes to the world but, later I realized that I have so much to tell my readers so dedicated my blog to all family members.
3. My blog has given me one identity as a good blogger among amazing co-bloggers.
4. I am myself when I open my laptop and started writing down.
5. It has given me the motive to write something new every day as I wanted to share my thoughts.
6. Above all my blog is unique in its own way as it is not one stop destination.
7. I feel my blog really given me a source to prove what my mom taught me ” sharing knowledge to gain knowledge” and I am seriously gaining so much daily.

Jab we met !!

Our first meeting was so Bollywood style… my dad was on a bed with paralysis & my mom want me to get settled but I had some other plans “Not to get married ” Mayank’s aunt planned her summer vacation to our neighbors as they were relatives & saw me taking care of my dad.

She told my mom that she thinks that his nephew will be the perfect match for me and given the phone number of his parents. My mom spoke to them without my knowledge and suddenly when I returned back from my job she said “Apna biodata mail kar do” & gave me 2 mail ids with my pic to scan n send …after so much argument I said ok and went cyber cafe to mail on both id’s (one id was of Mayank & other was his sister) as my mom noted the wrong id of his sister…mail BOUNCED & my bio data along with pic only reached to Mayank!!

He says he was in love with my smile & called his parents n said yes you can go n meet her.

He added me on yahoo chat and we started chatting… very generally I told him about my plans that until papa is not well and stand up on his own I will not marry.. he said ok … n told me that he will make sure he will respect my decision but gradually we started chatting n after few weeks he called he… we started talking on phn too .. he told me that his parents are planning to visit my place to see me and told me how to dress so that his mom gets impressed & I did ..I, myself don’t know when I started liking him.. his parents visited n liked me and even fixed our engagement date also … I was happy and even he was sounding same but still, we have not met each other…. now as it termed officially all though we should meet & say yes as they all were unaware that we are talking each other from long.

I was about to visit my sister place in Hyderabad and as he was posted in Pune so decided that he will come down to Hyderabad and meet me, then we can tell d decision to our families.

Day arrived 19th August 2006 he entered my sister’s place with my high heartbeat and how he would look like? How he will react? How he will smile? Will he say yes? So many questions were just flashing!!!

He came and it was decided that we will go in a mall there we can talk and as we went there, all others left us alone and we both standing in front of some jewellery shop first sentence he said “Ruchi let’s go and buy a ring …for you” and I was like on cloud 9 …

We called our parents and told them that it’s yes from our side too!!! And in April 2007 we tied knot for many more lives it’s 10 years of togetherness but still my heart pumps like it’s just happened a few seconds back.. we got 2 faces of our love Ira and Viraj our kids and  he kept his promise “Ruchi these many years your papa treated you as princess now my turn to treat you as queen of my life..” and so I am …Queen of my king !!!

Letter for Love

❤ Lovingly love Mayank ❤ 

It was never so perfect life without you before 10 years. It’s amazing journey of 10 years and I feel blessed that you are my companion for life …
I still remember when we met first and you directly said …”Chalo let’s buy a ring for  you!!” my heart still beats fast ❤ when I think of those magical words… for me love, marriage was always like with someone who can understand me, who can understand my thoughts without speaking up and you still listens to me whenever and whatever I think without uttering a word. Today we have our 2 faces of love in face of Ira and Viraj. We have shared all good times together but I remember those tough times when I needed you most when dad left us and you stood next to me like a strong pillar and made me realize that my choice of getting married to you is my BEST decision. You said at that time “Papa took care of her princess for so long now it’s my turn to take care of his princess ” and you kept your words!!
Time tested us and our love many times , even when Viraj was born in 6th month as an extremely premature baby we was in tears as hopes were shattered but our love and our headstrong togetherness made our little wonder a champ and we got our second face of love with God’s own blessings as a Miracle boy!!
Thanks is a really small word to show my gratitude towards the life I am sharing with you !!
On this Valentines day, this is small poem I would love to dedicate to you

Luxury Stay !!

In running life of today when my husband got job offer in another city to join, he joined Mumbai dream city and due to some reasons I had to stay back in Pune for little sometimes and as he was putting up in office guest house it was not feasible for me to come and join him any weekend and then there was Christmas round the corner so I decided to give him a surprise with a wonderful stay in The Taj Mahal Palace for 2 days so that we can enjoy our togetherness on this occasion.

I booked one TOWER SUPERIOR ROOM with the beautiful view from its balcony.

The full hotel was decorated beautifully and made me feel like it was only done for us to welcome.

Right from an entrance to our room, we felt like all is mine and now the time we spend without each other will get a new turn. Mayank (my husband) was quite surprised and happy to see me arranging all so well for him.

TAJ SALON

As we loved enjoyed our luxury time together I can’t forget to mention Taj Salon where we felt like a royal with their Taj Salon Signature Treatments like  Gorgeous Gold, Dazzling Diamond facials, or Crystal Face Massage is given us ultimate experience in luxury.

Dining 

Well, there are many options to dine in your own choice but our fav restaurant was MASALA KRAFT as they serve all dishes cooked in a traditional way with amazing authentic spices and well to tell you the secret readers being from Lucknow, I loved their best preparation of Lucknowi chicken biryani (must try). They are basically serving Contemporary Indian cuisine and an average cost for two people is 4000 rs/-.

Other than this Golden Dragon will also a next best option if you are looking for Chinese cuisine with average cost for two people is 5000 rs/- plus taxes

Yes, they provide morning yoga by the pool we missed that as we got to know it late but sure on our to-do list for next visit.

I was simply stunned by to architecture of the hotel.

View from every angle is beautiful and amazing staff which not only guided us as our first visit but also given us full royal treatment.

If you want to explore MUMBAI this is the best place to stay to be in heart of Mumbai.

I can’t resist and can’t stop myself sharing some of our cherished moment pics here.

This stay I cherish lifelong and want this to last forever. Thanks to The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai for a lovely stay where you treated us in a royal way.
