Allahabad city was earlier known as Prayāga, a name still commonly used. Located in southern Uttar Pradesh,Allahabad has hosted cultural and sporting events, including Kumbh Mela.
One such Triveni Sangam, in Prayag (Allahabad) has two physical rivers Ganges, Yamuna, and the invisible or mythical Saraswati River.

1. Hari ke Samose: Mitthulal named the shop after his son Hari, and Hari Ki Namkeen and hari ke Samose in Loknath Gali soon became a local legend.
   You can bring this home and enjoy for weeks ….it’s yummy and I bet no other samosa can beat this.

2. Netram Ki Kachori : Netram Ki Kachori Sabzi famous delicacy from Allahabad known for serving one of the best kachori sabji in Allahabad. If you are in Allahabad dont miss to try out kachori sabji by Netram Sweets in Allahabad. Also look out for mithai, sweets, ladoo.

1. Medical Chaat corner : if you are in Allahabad don’t miss to visit Medical College Chowk and it’s wonderful chaat corner, just go and take token and enjoy wow yummy and delicious chaat , tiki, pani puri, dahi vada ( I bet this is worlds best) and Momos too……so better don’t miss it.

1. Eat On: if you are in Civil lines and after shopping feeling hungry just drop in to Palace Compound, Near Palace Cinema, to eat on , it is latest upcoming and amazing joint fir all food lovers. Everything served here is just perfect and nice but personally I suggest to just go and order Chicken Biryani and you will add this as your fav joint.
